Still Seen

DEVOTIONAL

Scripture: Psalm 139:13-16, Genesis 1:27, 31

I know what it feels like to be invisible.

Not just quiet or shy. I mean actually overlooked.
Like you’re in the room, but no one notices.
Like you’re trying your best, but no one sees the effort.
Like your struggles don’t count because they don’t look like anyone else’s.

That feeling hurts. And it sticks.

Sometimes, I even feel invisible to God.

I’m praying and nothing happens.
Or I’m trying so hard and still getting it all wrong.
I’ve wondered if God forgot about me.
Or skipped over me when He was handing out gifts because I wasn’t worth it.

But God doesn’t miss anything. Not even me.

Psalm 139 says He saw me before anyone else did.
Before I had a name. Before I had a voice. Before I could explain myself.
He made me on purpose. And called it good.

You were created in His image. That includes all of you.

Even the parts that feel broken.
Even the things that make life harder.
Even when you don’t feel like enough.

Genesis says God looked at everything He made and called it very good.
That includes you. That includes me.

Even when I don’t feel it, I am still seen.

Even when I’m misunderstood by people, God gets me.
Even when my prayers feel small, He hears them.
Even when it’s quiet, He’s still there.

So if you feel like no one sees you, I get it.
I’ve been there. I still camp there sometimes.

You were never meant to blend in. You were made to be known.

Even when it’s hard. Even when it hurts.
You are still seen.

CHALLENGE

Take a walk and look around.
Notice something small.
Remember, God notices you too.
